Hussein like Hitler

I was recently listening to talk radio and the host of the show made a 
likening between Hitler and Saddam Hussein. I had never thought of the 
similarities before. He pointed out that no one really thought much of 
Hitler before he went on his rampage through Western Europe. The leaders of 
W. Europe and the US believed that Hitler's talks with Churchill prior to 
WWII were sufficient to keep peace much like Hussein's willingness to allow 
UN inspectors into Iraq. I do not necessarily believe the two scenarios are 
identical, but the similarities are frightening. In my opinion Bush and his 
team are hungry for war, but I am not so sure it is a bad thing. Nor am I 
convinced the possibility of war is solely based on a want of oil.
I am interested in hearing your opinions on this idea.
