Subject: The Liberal Arts Edge: Career Strategies for Tech-savvy Majors

To the TLC Faculty,

On Tuesday, October 29, the Technology, Literacy, and Culture program
(TLC) and the Liberal Arts Career Services (LACS) will present "The
Liberal Arts Edge: Career Strategies for Tech-Savvy Majors." The
presentation will be conducted as a panel discussion with area
technology leaders including Lauren Anderson, Tonya Browning, Michael
Gibson, and Pat Goodwin.  The panel discussion will be held in the
Santa Rita Room of the Texas Union (3.502), 4:00 - 6:00pm.  There
will be a reception afterwards with refreshments.

I hope you will encourage your students to come.  It is certainly to
students' advantage to start thinking about career strategies long in
advance of graduation.
