Here are a few more terms for everybody, I hope they are not too broad.  If 
anyone has any of the following, please let me know.  Thanks to all of you 
that has posted terms.
 
missing terms:  production sharing agreement,  take-or-pay contracts,  
strategic petroleum reserve,  Seymour Hersh, Wye Memorandum, dual containment, 
or oil swaps with Iran?  
 
Terms
 
Exxon Valdez:  Exxon oil tanker that hit rocks under the water, (b/c Captain 
had had too much to drink), causing large oil spill off the coast of Alaska.
 
Crown Prince Abdullah:  heir to the throne of Saudi Arabia and First deputy 
Prime Minister.  In contact with the state owned oil company, Saudi Aramco
 
October War:  (1973 Arab-Israeli War)  4th Arab-Israeli War.  Armed by U.S. 
and Soviet Union.  Embargo of oil during this period very important globally.  
First time oil weapon was used.
 
PDVSA:  (Petroleos de Venezuela) Energy company owned by the Venezuelan state, 
operates internationally. 
 
Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood:  organization that aims for moral and social 
reforms within Egypt.  Shares Islamist political and social goals.  often 
radical and violent in their actions
 
OGJ top 100 companies:  Oil and Gas Journal's list of major non-U.S. oil and 
gas companies
